UAE accelerating towards green energy – Umar Farooq Zahoor

The emerging issue in the current scenario is renewable energy. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has shown great interest in the development of renewable energy. Sheikh Umar Farooq Zahoor, a famous Norwegian-Pakistan businessperson pointed out that the UAE has been ready to invest vast amount on renewable energy to make it more effective by 2030. UAE has decided to save a quarter parts of total power generation and 10% of the total energy mix.

Sheikh Umar Farooq Zahoor also mentioned that the UAE is trying to make a strategy to maintain the natural gas & petroleum price. It helps grow renewable energy, which will become an investing attraction of all the business people in the future. He discussed on wind energy and recycling processes like the conversion of energy from various waste materials. Like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, the Emirates is doing great work on developing these renewable energy factors.

As the Sheikh Umar Farooq Zahoor is a great philanthropist, he believes that green energy is the only source to save the earth with the change in time. Abu Dhabi had invested 2.7 billion dollars on the hub of green energy along with some cities. Umar Farooq believes that the solar sector’s development is more important and beneficial than the oil industry. As a great businessman, he said that it is a natural source to get and protect the earth from released carbons. Umar Farooq wants to accelerate green energy at any cost by 2030 to protect the environment and sustain it as a great businessman in Dubai.

UAE has allotted nearly $350 million to develop sustainable green energy projects worldwide. As per the some news sources. Already, $12million has invested in 49 projects on renewable energy by the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) along with the UAE Ministry of foreign affairs and the UAE-based Masdar.
